Blackhawk BFR57 FST
FEATURES AND BENEFITS
- All season traction
- Enhanced controllability
- Longer-lasting tread life
OVERVIEW
The Blackhawk BFR57 FST is a highway terrain, all season tire manufactured for commercial vehicles. This model was designed for steer axles.
The tire promotes great all season traction. The ribbed tread design works with the stronger compound blend to improve dry, wet, and winter grip. Special tread elements, like the rib-edge sipes, generate biting edges while the tires are in motion, optimizing surface traction. On the other hand, the compound keeps the tire pliable in different temperatures, boosting its summer and winter applications. Wide circumferential grooves prevent hydroplaning as they eliminate water and slush from below the footprint.
Consistent road contact results in better controllability. The symmetric ribbed tread design’s surface contact greatly upgrades its steering responsiveness and driving stability. In other words, the tire manages to boost steering response and accuracy to the driver’s commands. It also improves its structural stability throughout the performance. The stable shoulder blocks firmly grip the road surface with extra biting edges, enhancing its overall cornering capability. These improvements promote a secure driving experience.
The Blackhawk BFR57 FST offers a lengthened usability. The tread design’s five-ribbed pattern and rib-edge sipes stabilize the footprint throughout the drive. This helps resist pressure accumulation on sensitive tread areas. As a result, the tire avoids irregular and premature wear across the footprint, significantly improving its overall service life.
