OVERVIEW

The BKT Skid Power S/K is an all season tire designed for industrial vehicles. This tire is specially manufactured for skid steers in construction applications.

The tire comes with a directional tread design that boasts overlapping angled lugs in the center and wide voids on both sides. With its footprint design, it is fully prepared for off-road performance, be it loose, soft or uneven terrain. Forward motion is always guaranteed due to the tire's self-cleaning ability. By preventing snow and mud from blocking surface contact, traction can be established with ease.

The strong compound together with the reinforced internal structure greatly enhances the load carrying ability of the tire. It can endure load and driving pressure without deformation, even under heavy loads. While the tread design contributes to the tire's stability, the strong compound helps maintain its optimal shape. This model also has a sidewall structure that further improves its load and driving durability.

The directional tread pattern with the overlapping angled lugs and the strong rubber compound all contribute to longer lasting tread life. The tire's stability comes from its tread design, which evenly distributes load and driving pressure. Since the strong bias ply construction does not deform under huge pressure, the structure remains stable, resulting in slow and uniform wear. The Skid Power S/K is resistant to punctures and other damage factors with its structure and compound.

As the manufacturers only provide the tire width and the rim diameter with these tires, various brands and models will have size differences. In order to ensure the correct size is purchased, the overall tire diameter that is needed should be checked.

The Overall Diameter or O.D. advertised represents the tire's overall diameter in inches, once the tire has been properly inflated and mounted per the manufacturer's recommendation. This advertised number is provided to Priority Tire by the tire manufacturer.

Manufacturers recommend changing tires every 10 years. As long as tires are properly stored before they are sold, the year of their manufacture will not shorten their service life.
