OVERVIEW

The BKT LG Rib is an all season tire made for lawn mowers and garden tractors.

The ribbed tread design and the special silica compound manage to keep constant contact with driving surfaces. They firmly grip the surface with extra biting edges. As a result, the tire can easily keep forward motion even on soft, loose, and uneven terrains. On the other hand, wide grooves eliminate mud, snow, and rocks stuck between the tread elements for better traction. This combination makes this model perfect for garden tractors.

The model offers excellent controllability. The ribbed tread design maintains close contact with the driving surface, improving steering responsiveness and driving stability. The steering response time is faster and more precise to the driver’s commands, while the structure is secured against driving pressure. Cornering and maneuvering are upgraded as well. These elements work together to guarantee a safe driving experience, while the driver has complete control over the vehicle.

This tire is a turf-friendly model. In other words, the wide footprint and the optimal tread elements closely follow the terrain surface and offer soft traction. This is a bias ply tire. Due to the tire's internal construction and size, it is possible that the tire will look deformed. Smaller bias ply tires do not have reinforced constructions that can keep the tire from deforming. The bias construction and the small tire's non-reinforced internal structure allow the tire to fold in when it is deflated or not properly inflated. This is not constructional damage or an issue; it is a normal occurrence with such tires. In such cases, the tire needs to be mounted and inflated to the proper PSI or, in some instances, an inner tube needs to be added. The proper PSI and the inner tube are able to maintain the tire's ideal shape, preventing the bias plies from looking deformed. This ensures their performing safety and durability.
