OVERVIEW
The BFGoodrich Touring T/A is a touring, all season tire manufactured for SUVs and passenger vehicles. BFGoodrich offers a 60,000 mile warranty on the H and V speed rated models and a 75,000 mile warranty for the T speed rated models.
This all season tire offers excellent all weather traction, which was made possible by the g-Grip Technology. This technology makes the tire M+S rated for traction in mud and snow and it enhances its dry, wet and winter weather road grip. The tire's use on wet roads is made safer with its improved anti-hydroplaning design. The tread grooves channel water from below the footprint of the tire providing increased wet traction to resist hydroplaning.
The tire's non-directional tread pattern prevents irregular wear, as it distributes the driving force equally along the tread area. When the tread wear of the tire is not even, the road contact becomes irregular across the tire and it causes a wobbling sensation and vibrations. The tire's superb performing capability is further improved with BFGoodrich's ETEC or Equal TEnsion Containment System. This reinforces the tire's internal structure, which serves to maintain the tire's shape at highway speeds. As the tire's shape does not deform, its performing capability is boosted and the tire becomes safer to use. The ETEC system also improves the steering responsiveness of the tire. The precise and quick response to the commands of the driver make the model easier to control. The better control and handling allows the driver to confidently maneuver the tire in all weather conditions.
The tire's shape at high speeds is also maintained by the g-Wedge Technology, which reinforces the sidewalls of the model. This is especially apparent during cornering and other maneuvering situations. The sidewalls of the model do not deform under the pressure of these maneuvers, which improves the tire's cornering and maneuvering ability and power.
The Touring T/A offers reduced road noise levels. The noise reduction system lowers the road noise heard in the cabin by channeling the soundwaves through the tire's footprint. The reduced road noise provides a quiet and comfortable driving experience.
