OVERVIEW

The BFGoodrich Mud-Terrain T/A KM3 is a mud terrain all season tire manufactured for light trucks.

The tire ensures excellent off-road performance. The Terrain-Attack tread design's large tread blocks improve the soft and loose terrain traction and also enable the model to maintain a firm grip on uneven terrain surfaces. In this manner, the tread enhances the tire's usability on all off-road conditions. The staggered shoulder design increases the tire's forward movement in deep mud and loose dirt, promoting better controllability. The tread pattern's wide grooves feature Mud-Phobic bars that manage to keep the tire's footprint clean. They eliminate mud and snow and eject rocks stuck between the tread elements. This resists stone retention from harming the tire and prevents the tread area from being blocked from its contact with the road surface.

The tire promotes excellent durability. The thick sidewall and shoulder rubber and the reinforced polyester and steel belt internal construction upgrade the model's durability against the driving and load pressure affecting it. In this manner, the tire is capable of handling and carrying heavier loads, while also ensuring a secure performance. The special Traction-Armor sidewall sculpture and the CoreGuard Technology provide damage resistance. The sidewall design resists impact damage from harming the tire's casing, while the CoreGuard technology thickens the sidewall and shoulder rubber to prevent tread splitting under the aggressive off-road pressure to guarantee a safer drive.

The model is easily controlled. The tread design's optimally placed large tread blocks and the Linear Flex Zone design enhance the steering responsiveness and driving stability on off-road terrains. The tread closely follows the road surface, while the Linear Flex Zone allows the tire to flex and ensures traction even in aired-down situations. As a result, the tire is more responsive and more accurate to the driver's instructions, while its structure is stabilized against the driving pressure affecting the tire.

The Mud-Terrain T/A KM3's tread design and the all season compound work together to boost the all weather traction. The large tread blocks with the moderate siping detail firmly grip the dry, wet and winter weather terrain surface, while the tire compound maintains its optimal flexibility even in colder temperatures. The special Krawl-Tek Compound offers exceptional traction on rocky and all slick surfaces, and in all weather. The better traction and terrain gripping ability guarantee a safer driving experience.

The intended purpose of Mud Terrain tire types is off-road use. They are not designed for regular highway driving.

Manufacturers recommend changing tires every 10 years. As long as tires are properly stored before they are sold, the year of their manufacture will not shorten their service life.
