OVERVIEW
The Atlas Tire Priva H/T II is a highway terrain all season tire manufactured for SUVs and light trucks. While its light truck sizes do not have a warranty on them, the SUV sizes have a 45-50,000 mile treadwear warranty, depending on the UTQG rating. The 460 rated sizes receive a 45,000 mile warranty, while the 500 rated ones get a 50,000 mile warranty.
The tire promotes excellent all weather traction. The special tire compound and the tread design work together to increase the dry, wet and winter weather road gripping ability. The compound maintains its flexibility in all weather, while the pattern's large tread blocks firmly grip the road surface and ensure constant contact. The four wide circumferential grooves effectively resist hydroplaning by eliminating water and slush from below the tire's footprint. The result is a safer year round performance.
The model offers great controllability. The ribbed symmetric tread design creates a flat footprint that enhances the tire's road contact. It keeps the tire on the road at all times and it provides better control to the driver. The flat footprint improves the steering responsiveness and driving stability greatly. The tire's structure is stabilized against the pressure affecting it, while the steering is boosted to be more responsive and more accurate to the driver's commands, making the tire easier to control in all weather. The large shoulder tread blocks manage to upgrade the number of biting edges that firmly grip the road surface in all conditions. The more secure cornering and maneuvering allows the tire to safely perform to its best ability.
The tire's tread pattern was designed with a variable pitch sequence. The special variable pitch sequence decreases the road and tread pattern noise heard in the vehicle's cabin. It manages to lower the road noise levels by negating the soundwaves at the moment they are generated. This is achieved as the tread design's variable pitch creates a sound frequency that cancels out the road noise made during the drive, preventing them from reaching the vehicle's cabin. In this manner, the model promotes a quiet and comfortable driving experience.
The Priva H/T II's tread design and special tire compound extend the tire's usability. The ribbed symmetric tread design prevents irregular tread wear formations by evenly distributing the driving pressure along the tread area. The equal distribution of the forces of acceleration, cornering and braking is further improved by the slower tread wear rate of the tire compound. This combination enhances the tread life and the tire's usability, providing a cost efficient model.
