OVERVIEW
The Antares Majoris M5 is a performance and high performance, all season tire manufactured for passenger vehicles and SUVs.
The tire has superb all weather traction provided by the silica based tire compound. It grips the road well in dry, wet and light winter weather thanks to the tread pattern. The tire is safe to use all year, especially as the two waved grooves actively resist hydroplaning by eliminating water from below the tire footprint.
The silica based compound offers a fuel- and cost-efficient drive. This lowers the overall weight of the tire, which in turn reduces the rolling resistance. The decreased rolling resistance lessens the fuel consumption and CO2 emissions of the vehicle as it need less energy to keep the tire in motion. The rolling resistance also slows down the tread wear rate. The tire is environmentally friendly and economical because of this.
The enhanced cornering ability and steering responsiveness are the product of the shoulder tread design. It provides excellent driving stability and additional biting edges for cornering and maneuvering, increasing the cornering ability and power.
