The Americus ST 1000 is a highway terrain, all season tire manufactured for commercial trucks. This model is designed to be mounted on the vehicle's trailer axle. The tire upgrades its controllability with the ideal tread design's constant surface contact, boosting towing safety. The strengthened construction keeps the optimal tire shape under the heavy load pressure affecting the model, greatly improving the load capacity. The ST 1000 boosts the length of the tread life by preventing irregular wear along the tread area, while the ideal tread elements avoid stone retention during the drive.

The tread design features a symmetric ribbed pattern, which closely follows the road surface at all times.

This improves the steering responsiveness and the driving stability. In other words, it upgrades the steering response time and accuracy to the towing vehicle's commands, while the structure is stabilized against the driving pressure affecting the model. In this manner, the tire is easily controlled and it upgrades the driving and towing safety levels significantly.

The strengthened internal structure reinforces the tire against the pressure affecting it.

The steel belt construction maintains the ideal tire shape under the load and driving pressure affecting the model, boosting the load carrying and withstanding ability. As the tire's shape does not deform under the load and driving pressure, the model is able to greatly enhance its load capacity. The stronger structure also manages to protect the tire against damage. It prevents punctures, cuts and impact damage from harming the tire's casing, improving the model's service life.

The ST 1000 offers a longer tread life.

The symmetric ribbed pattern and the durable compound ensure a lengthened usability. The tread prevents irregular tread wear formations along the tread area with the even pressure distribution, while the compound decreases the tread wear rate with the wear-resistant rubber materials. The tread's stone ejecting knobs, located in the grooves, avoid stone retention. They eject rocks stuck between the tread elements, before they can drill into the casing and harm the tire. This greatly lengthens the model's tread and service life.
