OVERVIEW

The Americus ST Radial is a highway terrain, all season tire manufactured for trailers. This tire is NOT MEANT TO BE MOUNTED ON LIGHT TRUCKS, as its construction will not support the weight and performing style of such vehicles. It can ONLY BE MOUNTED ON TRAILERS.

All weather traction is guaranteed with this tire model. It combines the all season compound with the detailed tread elements. As a result, the model greatly boosts the dry, wet and winter weather grip on the road surface. The tread design utilizes its siping and groove placement to create additional biting edges – which firmly grip the road at all times. The stronger compound allows the tire to optimize the rubber flexibility in versatile weather situations. The circumferential and zigzag lateral grooves prevent hydroplaning by dispersing water and slush from the footprint.

The maintained surface contact of the ribbed tread design increases the controllability. The footprint allows the tire to improve the steering responsiveness and the driving stability significantly. This enables the tire to promote a quick and precise steering response, while the structural stability is maintained at all times. Its reinforced construction features a micro-position fiber belt structure – which helps to keep the ideal tire shape. As the tire does not deform under the load pressure, it is able to securely upgrade the overall load handling power.
