OVERVIEW

The Agstar 3340 is an all season tire manufactured for agricultural tractors.

The symmetric ribbed tread design improves the tire's off-road, field traction. The better surface contact and optimal pressure distribution enable the model to boost its soft terrain performance. The soft traction enhances the tire's high flotation capability. The better flotation ability enables the tire to perform without putting too much pressure on the driving surface, which can ruin the soil quality. This is called field or soil retention and it happens when the soil is loosened up because of the excess pressure affecting it during the drive. By avoiding soil retention, the model promotes a safer driving experience on off-road, field surfaces.

The tread design's close surface contact also upgrades the controllability. The symmetric ribbed pattern enables the tire to maintain the surface contact throughout the model's performance. In this manner, the steering becomes faster and more precise in its response to the driver's commands, while the structure is stabilized against the driving pressure affecting the model. This combination ensures the driver's control over the vehicle throughout its performance. The model's high flotation traction also ensures the model's maneuvering on versatile terrain surface conditions, mainly on soft terrain, promoting a safer driving experience.

The 3340 offers exceptional durability. The stronger nylon casing and the strengthened compound improve the load durability and the damage resistance. The casing maintains the ideal tire shape under the load and driving pressure affecting the model. As a result, the tire is capable of carrying and withstanding heavy loads with ease. The reinforced compound reduces the tread wear rate and it helps prevent external damage from harming the casing. This lengthens the model's service life by avoiding punctures and cuts from damaging the tread area and sidewalls.

This specific tire model features a BIASED ply construction.

There might be discrepancies of sizes between brands and models of tires which have this size formatting. As the manufacturers only provide the tire width and the rim diameter with these tires, various brands and models will have size differences. In order to ensure the correct size is purchased, the overall tire diameter that is needed should be checked.

This is a Tubed Type Tire (TT), which requires an inner tube to properly function. This purchase does not include the inner tube or flaps.

The Overall Diameter or O.D. advertised represents the tire's overall diameter in inches, once the tire has been properly inflated and mounted per the manufacturer's recommendation. This advertised number is provided to Priority Tire by the tire manufacturer.

Manufacturers recommend changing tires every 10 years. As long as tires are properly stored before they are sold, the year of their manufacture will not shorten their service life.
