OVERVIEW

The Advance GR-D2 is a highway terrain, all weather tire manufactured for commercial vehicles. It is designed to be mounted on the vehicle’s drive axle positions.

The winter-weather performance is assured, thanks to many blocks and their biting edges. The sipes on the central blocks also help in securing a firm snow and ice grip. The tire combats and prevents hydroplaning with its circumferential grooves and the open-shoulder design. They channel slush and water from under the footprint, securing traction. The blocks put an increased rubber area on the road, maintaining optimal dry road grip. Furthermore, the compound keeps the rubber flexible and operational in warmer and colder months. As a result, the model delivers a reliable dry, wet, and winter performance.

The five-rib design ensures continual road traction. This enables even pressure circulation along the tire’s circumference, improving structural stability. The ribbed blocks firmly grip the road surface with their biting edges enhancing traction and controllability. Their dense arrangement stabilizes the footprint, giving the model better balance on the highway.

The radial construction makes the tire sturdier from within and allows it to balance out the pressure across the footprint. This increases resistance against pressure accumulation and tread deformation.
