OVERVIEW

The Advance GL268D is a highway terrain, all season tire manufactured for commercial vehicles. This model was made to be mounted on the drive axle of the vehicle.

The tire improves the all weather traction. The all season compound and the ideal tread design upgrade the dry, wet and winter weather grip. The stronger compound elements optimize the rubber flexibility throughout the year, upgrading the warm summer and colder winter weather situations. The tread's block placement firmly grips the road surface with extra biting edges, upgrading the number of biting edges. The ideal grooves prevent hydroplaning by dispersing water and slush from the footprint, further boosting the wet weather driving safety levels.

The flat footprint with the symmetric ribbed tread block placement boosts the controllability. This tread design enables the tire to upgrade the steering responsiveness and the driving stability. In this manner, the tire is quicker and more precise in its response to the driver's commands, while the structure is secured against the driving pressure affecting the tire. The stronger internal structure enables the tire to upgrade the load durability as well. As the tire does not deform under the pressure, it is able to securely handle heavy loads. This promotes a safer heavy-duty performance throughout the performance.

The Advance GL268D improves the fuel efficiency as well. The Low Emission Technology enables the tire to ease the pressure off the tire, greatly minimizing the rolling resistance. The rolling resistance is the pressure affecting the tire which determines the vehicle's fuel intake needed to keep the tires in motion. Reducing the rolling resistance greatly lowers the vehicle's fuel consumption and CO2 emission levels, promoting a fuel conscious and environmentally friendly driving experience.

There might be discrepancies of sizes between brands and models of tires which have this size formatting. As the manufacturers only provide the tire width and the rim diameter with these tires, various brands and models will have size differences. In order to ensure the correct size is purchased, the overall tire diameter that is needed should be checked.

The Overall Diameter or O.D. advertised represents the tire's overall diameter in inches, once the tire has been properly inflated and mounted per the manufacturer's recommendation. This advertised number is provided to Priority Tire by the tire manufacturer.

Manufacturers recommend changing tires every 10 years. As long as tires are properly stored before they are sold, the year of their manufacture will not shorten their service life.
