The Achilles ATR-K Economist is a performance and high performance, all season tire manufactured for passenger vehicles.
The tire offers excellent all weather traction. The symmetric tread design and the all season tire compound work together to ensure excellent dry, wet and winter weather traction. The two broader circumferential grooves actively disperse water from beneath the tire's footprint which actively avoids hydroplaning and increases the wet weather traction. The increased all weather traction and hydroplaning resistance ensures a safer driving experience.
The tread pattern guarantees a safer handling and braking ability as well. The inside offset twin ribs improve the high speed driving stability and steering responsiveness, while at the same time they manage to shorten the braking distance. The tire is stabilized against the driving pressure affecting it at high speeds, while the steering becomes faster and more accurate in its response to the driver's instructions. The offset ribs also shorten the braking distance by creating friction at the moment of braking, to increase the driving security. The shoulder tread blocks, with the multiple edges and added sipes, upgrade the cornering and maneuvering capability. They provide additional biting edges during cornering to boost the tire's controllability.
The model provides a comfortable and quiet drive. The larger shoulder tread blocks maintain constant road contact. This allows the tire to closely follow the road surface and decrease the road vibrations felt in the vehicle's cabin during the drive. The tread design also reduces the road noise generated while the tires are in motion. The twin silent ribs lower the road noise by preventing its creation.
