The Accelera RA 162 is a performance, summer tire manufactured for racing vehicles.

The tire upgrades the summer weather performance. The model combines the summer compound and the asymmetric ribbed tread design to boost the dry and wet weather road gripping ability. The summer compound keeps the rubber flexibility and actively prevents heat build-up along the tread area. The asymmetric tread block placement enhances the grip on the road surface with additional biting edges. The tread's angled circumferential grooves channel water and slush from below the footprint, avoiding hydroplaning by dispersing water from below the footprint. This combination guarantees the tire's safer summer weather driving experience.

The model increases the high speed controllability with the optimal tread design's surface contact.
