High Driving Comfort Levels
Driving comfort levels determine how enjoyable the driving experience is throughout the tire’s performance. The lowered road noise and vibrations promote a quiet and comfortable driving experience. The Entyre 2.0 was designed with the special Silent Sidewall and Silent Groove technologies to decrease the road noise heard and vibrations felt in the vehicle’s cabin during the drive.
The Silent Groove technology manages to lower the road and tread pattern noise. These unique grooves channel the airwaves through the tire’s footprint. Doing so, they bounce the airwaves off the groove walls repeatedly, dampening the road noise generated while the tires are in motion. As a result, the road and tread pattern noise does not reach the vehicle’s cabin, promoting a quiet performance.
The Silent Sidewall technology, on the other hand, utilizes a special zone on the tire’s sidewall, which prevents road vibrations from being felt by the passengers. It cuts out any vibrations caused by the model’s contact with the driving surface. In this manner, the tire ensures a comfortable driving experience.
All Season Performance
All season tires are capable of conquering all weather driving conditions with ease. They ensure first-rate dry, wet and winter weather performing capabilities. They combine their tread design and all season compound to ensure this exceptional year round performance.
The Entyre 2.0 was designed with an asymmetric tread pattern and molded from a silica-based all season compound to increase its year round traction. The compound manages to keep the tire pliable in various temperatures, thanks to the silica-based rubber material, while the tread elements increase the number of biting edges gripping the road surface throughout the model’s performance. This allows the tire to increase the all weather performing capability and power, promoting the tire’s superb driving safety.
The tread pattern was designed with numerous circumferential and angled lateral grooves to increase the wet and winter weather grip. This groove placement allows the tire to eliminate water and slush from below the tire’s footprint, avoiding hydroplaning. Hydroplaning is a road hazard, which cuts off the tire’s contact with the road surface, causing the vehicle to skid and the driver to lose control over it. As a result, the circumferential and lateral groove pattern’s water and slush dispersing capability significantly improves the wet and winter weather driving safety.
Controllability and Cornering
Tires are the only contact a vehicle has with the road surface. As such, they must have excellent steering responsiveness and driving stability. The better controllability enables the driver to confidently maneuver the vehicle in various weather conditions, ensuring a safer performance.
The tread design’s notched center rib closely follows the road surface throughout the year. The ribbed pattern’s optimal road contact upgrades the steering responsiveness and the driving stability significantly. In this manner, the steering becomes faster and more precise in its response to the driver’s commands, while the structure is stabilized against the driving pressure affecting the model. This enables the tire to increase the year round performing capability in various conditions.
The Entyre 2.0 features larger stabilized shoulder tread blocks that enhance the cornering and maneuvering capability. The stable shoulder design increases the number of biting edges gripping the road surface throughout the year, guaranteeing the tire’s cornering safety. The secure maneuvering enhances the model’s performing ability and driving security.
Longer-Lasting Tread Life
A longer lasting tread design and stronger tire compound manage to improve the length of the tire’s usability. They promote a slower and even tread wear rate to increase the model’s service life and offer its longevity.
The Entyre 2.0 was designed with an asymmetric tread pattern with a flat footprint. This enables the tire to evenly distribute the driving pressure along the tread area. The equally spread out forces of acceleration, cornering and braking avoids the formation of irregular wear across the tread area. The tire compound, on the other hand, actively prevents premature tread wear by slowing the tread wear rate down significantly. This combination ensures a lengthened tread life and usability.
Nokian offers a 60,000 mile treadwear warranty with the 580AA UTQG rated tire sizes, while an 80,000 mile warranty is offered with the 720AA UTQG rated tire sizes of the Entyre 2.0 model.
