Rainier ST
FEATURES AND BENEFITS
- Improved controllability
- Enhanced load durability
- Longer-lasting tread life
OVERVIEW
The Rainier ST is a highway terrain, all season tire manufactured for trailers. This tire is NOT MEANT TO BE MOUNTED ON LIGHT TRUCKS, as its construction will not support the weight and performing style of such vehicles. It can ONLY BE MOUNTED ON TRAILERS.
The model offers great controllability. The ribbed tread design and its continuous road contact increase steering responsiveness and driving stability. In other words, it enhances the steering response time and accuracy to the towing vehicle's commands, while the structure is secured against driving pressure. The ideal elements also boost maneuvering and braking abilities during the performance. This combination gives the driver excellent control over the vehicle.
The robust internal structure and the durable rubber compound improve load and driving durability. They maintain the optimal tire shape under the load and driving pressure affecting it. As the tire does not deform during the performance, it can carry and withstand heavy loads. As a result, it enhances the load-carrying capacity and handling power, which makes this tire perfect for trailer applications.
The Rainier ST provides a longer-lasting tread life. The ideal tread design evenly distributes the driving pressure along the tread area, while the rubber compound decreases the treadwear rate. As a result, the tire effectively combats irregular and premature wear formations. This slow and even wear significantly lengthens the tire's service life and usability.
Manufacturers recommend changing tires every 10 years. As long as tires are properly stored before they are sold, the year of their manufacture will not shorten their service life.
