OVERVIEW

The Solideal Air 550 is an all season tire manufactured for industrial vehicles.

The tire promotes a longer lasting usability. The flat footprint and deeper tread work together with the durable compound to ensure a lengthened tread life. The optimized tread elements allow the tire to evenly distribute the driving pressure across the tread area. The equally spread out forces of acceleration, cornering and braking prevent irregular wear formations. On the other hand, the durable compound elements minimize the tread wear rate. The compound utilizes wear-resistant rubber materials to greatly extend the usability. The slower and even wear greatly improves the length of the service life.

The unique tread design with the flat footprint enhances the surface contact while the tires are in motion. The tread's surface contact improves the steering responsiveness and the driving stability. In other words, the tire is quicker and more precise in its response to the driver's commands, greatly optimizing the driver's control over the vehicle. The close surface contact also enables the tire to absorb the shock of driving while the tires are in motion. This results in a better driving stability and higher driving comfort levels. The tread design decreases the road vibrations felt by the passengers, while it secures the structural stability throughout the performance.

The Air 550 boosts the damage resistance. The heavy-duty carcass and the thicker sidewalls work together to improve the driving safety levels. This specific tire model features a BIASED ply construction.

There might be discrepancies of sizes between brands and models of tires which have this size formatting. As the manufacturers only provide the tire width and the rim diameter with these tires, various brands and models will have size differences. In order to ensure the correct size is purchased, the overall tire diameter that is needed should be checked.

This is a Tubed Type Tire (TT), which requires an inner tube to properly function. This purchase does not include the inner tube or flaps.

The Overall Diameter or O.D. advertised represents the tire's overall diameter in inches, once the tire has been properly inflated and mounted per the manufacturer's recommendation. This advertised number is provided to Priority Tire by the tire manufacturer.

Manufacturers recommend changing tires every 10 years. As long as tires are properly stored before they are sold, the year of their manufacture will not shorten their service life.
