OVERVIEW

The Nitto NT05 is a high performance, summer tire manufactured for racing vehicles, to be used for street and track racing.

The tire offers a secure summer weather traction. The durable high speed tire compound and the optimal road contact work together to enhance the tire's dry and wet weather road grip. The compound keeps its rubber flexibility in the summer heat and it helps lower the heat build-up along the tread area. This boosts the model's grip on the road surface throughout the tire's performance. The tread's optimal road contact improves the grip the tire has on the road surface during its performance, further improving the summer weather driving and racing safety.

The special tread design enhances the tire's controllability. The tread features a continuous center rib and a larger outer shoulder tread area. The center rib's constant road contact boosts the model's steering responsiveness and driving stability, even during the high speed performance. This enables the tire to increase its responsiveness and accuracy to the driver's steering instructions, while it secures the structure against the driving pressure. The large shoulder pattern increases the cornering and maneuvering ability by heightening the number of biting edges gripping the road surface.

The NT05 guarantees a first-rate high speed performance. The optimally rigid tread elements help avoid tread flexing, while the specially formulated compound keeps its traction throughout the high speed drive.
