OVERVIEW

The Nexen Roadian MT is a mud terrain all season tire manufactured for light trucks.

The tire provides great all weather traction. The deeper tread grooves, the open shoulder design and the staggered tread blocks enhance the soft and loose terrain traction. The upper sidewall tread design also manages to increase the driving safety as it increases the tire's road gripping ability. In this manner, the tire is capable of firmly gripping the terrain surface while driving through deep mud and loose dirt. The staggered tread blocks manage to disperse mud and eject rocks stuck between the tread elements to keep the tire's footprint clean and enhance its road gripping ability at all times.

The tread design increases the all season performance. The tread elements and the special all season tire compound work together to ensure first-rate dry, wet and winter weather road gripping ability. The tread blocks find good grip on all road surface conditions, while increasing the model's performing capability. The wider and deeper grooves manage to prevent hydroplaning by evacuating water and slush from below the tire's footprint, while eliminating snow stuck in the grooves. These enhancements improve the all weather driving safety greatly.

The maintained road contact manages to boost the tire's controllability. The tread blocks keep the tire's road contact at all times, which enhances the steering responsiveness and driving stability. As a result, the steering becomes faster and more accurate in its response to the driver's instructions, while the tire is stabilized against the driving pressure affecting it. The shoulder tread blocks make the cornering ability safer and ensure a secure drive.

The Roadian MT promotes great durability. The reinforced shoulder tread design evenly distributes the driving and load pressure along the tread area. This allows the model to carry and withstand heavy loads with ease and ensures exceptional off-road performance. The better durability coupled with the longer lasting tread life as the evenly distributed driving pressure prevents irregular tread wear formations.

The intended purpose of Mud Terrain tire types is off-road use. They are not designed for regular highway driving.

Manufacturers recommend changing tires every 10 years. As long as tires are properly stored before they are sold, the year of their manufacture will not shorten their service life.
