The Continental ExtremeContact Sport 02 is a high performance, summer tire made for passenger vehicles and SUVs.
This tire promotes summer performance. The asymmetric tread pattern maintains the road contact in dry and wet weather conditions. At the same time, the summer compound prevents heat build-up in warm temperatures. This combination enables the tire to improve its performance in the summer season. The tire also prevents hydroplaning. Wide circumferential grooves eliminate water from the footprint in wet situations. This guarantees the tire's safe performance, even in wet-weather conditions.
The asymmetric tread design and its close road contact improve controllability. These elements strongly grip the road with extra biting edges, boosting steering responsiveness and driving stability. In other words, the steering response time is faster and more precise to the driver's commands, while the structure is secured against driving pressure. Wide shoulder blocks and their road contact increase cornering. On the other hand, the strong rubber compound prevents pressure accumulation across the tread area. Depending where you are located in the 48 contiguous states, our shipping courier will take approximately 1-6 business days to deliver the tires to you from any of our four main warehouses located in Pennsylvania, Texas, and Florida and/or our smaller warehouses which are located across the country.
Due to the nature of shipping, packages may be separated at the shipping courier's facility and not delivered on the same day, even though shipped together. You'll receive a master tracking number via email to check on the courier's website for updates. For instance, you may receive 3 tires on one day and the 4th on the following day, or one tire one day and another the day after. We understand this may be inconvenient at times but it's beyond our control.
