OVERVIEW

The Carlisle Xtrac is an all terrain, all season tire manufactured for lawn mowers and garden equipment.

The tire offers great all season traction. The tread design features angled lugs that enhance the dry, wet and winter weather traction. This model performs especially well in colder temperature conditions, on ice and snow-covered road surfaces. As a result, this tire is suited to be mounted on snow thrower. The tire guarantees first-rate road grip throughout the year and ensures a safer driving experience.

The model ensures excellent all terrain traction. The tread design's larger center and smaller shoulder lugs are capable of finding good road contact on soft, loose and uneven terrain surfaces. In this manner, the tire ensures great traction even in deeper and on loose surfaces that would be a challenge for other tires. The tread also improves the self-cleaning nature by preventing mud, snow and rocks being stuck in between the tread elements.

The Xtrac promotes great durability. The special heavy-duty construction actively resists punctures, abrasion, cuts and other damage that may cause harm to the tire's casing. The reinforced construction also prevents the deformity of the tire's optimal shape to ensure a secure driving experience in all weather.

This is a bias ply tire. Due to the tire's internal construction and size, it is possible that the tire will look deformed. Smaller bias ply tires do not have reinforced constructions that can keep the tire from deforming. The bias construction and the small tire's non-reinforced internal structure allow the tire to fold in when it is deflated or not properly inflated. This is not constructional damage or an issue; it is a normal occurrence with such tires. In such cases, the tire needs to be mounted and inflated to the proper PSI or, in some instances, an inner tube needs to be added. The proper PSI and the inner tube are able to maintain the tire's ideal shape, preventing the bias plies from looking deformed. This ensures their performing safety and durability.
