OVERVIEW

The Atlas Tire Legend UHP is a high performance all season tire manufactured for passenger vehicles.

The tire promotes excellent all weather traction. The asymmetric tread pattern increases the all weather traction greatly. It increases the road gripping ability in dry, wet and winter weather and ensures a safer year round driving experience. The tread design's wide circumferential grooves actively resist hydroplaning by dispersing water and slush from beneath the tire's footprint. The better hydroplaning avoidance ensures a more secure drive in deeper water and wet weather.

The tire's asymmetric tread design features lug-like shoulder tread blocks that improve the steering responsiveness and the driving stability. They enhance the steering response time and accuracy while also stabilizing the tire against the driving pressure affecting it. The shoulder tread blocks also increase the number of biting edges that secure the tire during cornering and maneuvering situations. The asymmetric tread pattern manages to shorten the braking distance. It creates friction at the moment of braking and promotes a safer braking capability.

The Legend UHP guarantees a longer lasting tread life. The maintained road contact effectively lowers the possibility of uneven wear forming across the tread area. The road contact equally distributes the driving pressure across the tread area, which avoid irregular tread wear formations on the tire's surface. The tire's tread life and usability are extended in this manner. The tire was also manufactured with a rim flange that protects the tire from accidental curb damage that can harm the rims.
