The Yokohama 101ZL is a highway terrain, all season tire manufactured for commercial vehicles. It was made to be mounted on the vehicle's steer axle.
The tire is easily handled in various conditions. The symmetric ribbed tread's flat footprint and the ideal tire shape optimize the tire's road contact to boost the steering responsiveness and the driving stability. In other words, they increase the steering response time and accuracy to the driver's commands, while the structure is stabilized against the driving pressure affecting the model. The tire's high siping density also helps upgrade the performance. They improve the braking ability by decreasing the braking distance and securing the tire's road contact with additional biting edges. This ensures a safer driving experience.
The model utilizes different construction elements to upgrade the tread life length. It combines the construction, the tread design and the compound's road gripping abilities to extend the tire's usability. The construction maintains the optimal tire shape and prevents the deformation of the tire, which ensures an even road contact at all times.
