OVERVIEW

The Falken Ziex ZE950 A/S (OE) is a performance and high performance, all season tire made for passenger vehicles and SUVs. This is an OE as it is the original equipment of select vehicles.

The tire offers excellent all weather traction. Thanks to the Dynamic Range Technology (DRT) with the silica-based tread compound that is exclusive to Falken, the tire grips the road remarkably well in all weather conditions, including in winter. The winter traction of the tire is further enhanced with the 3D canyon sipes in the tread pattern. This design provides extra biting edges during braking in snow or on ice, improving the safety of the drive. The tread design's wide angled tread slots allow for snow to be packed into the middle of the tread pattern boosting the snow traction. The circumferential grooves on the tire pattern channel water from the footprint and increase the tire's hydroplaning resistance.

This versatile weather traction enhances its drive quality as well. The tire's superb all weather traction provides additional biting edges, which means better and more powerful cornering and maneuvering performance. The 3D Canyon Sipe technology and the tread design's large shoulder blocks have a firm grip on the road when cornering, offering a safer driving experience.

The Ziex ZE950 A/S (OE) offers a longer lasting tread life. The tread wears out evenly as irregular wear is prevented with the 3D Canyon Sipes in the tread pattern. The even wear on the tire extends the tire's usability and, this way, its life.

Manufacturers recommend changing tires every 10 years. As long as tires are properly stored before they are sold, the year of their manufacture will not shorten their service life.
