Milestar Patagonia A/T R

FEATURES AND BENEFITS

  • Rugged terrain traction
  • Longer lasting tread life
  • All weather traction
  • Damage resistance

OVERVIEW

The Milestar Patagonia A/T R is a rugged terrain, all season tire manufactured for SUVs and light trucks. Milestar offers a 50,000 mile treadwear warranty with this tire model.

The tire guarantees a secure rugged terrain performance. The staggered center and alternating shoulder tread blocks, the steeped grooves and the open shoulder design improve the tire's grip on soft, loose and uneven terrain conditions. They enable the tire's forward motion on various terrain surfaces to improve its rugged performing capability. As a result, the tire combines its on- and off-road driving security. The tread's optimized elements also manage to maintain a clean footprint. They eliminate mud and snow and eject rocks stuck between the elements. This allows the tire to keep its contact with the terrain surface at all times, while also actively avoiding stone retention from harming the tire's casing. This enables the tire's safer off-road driving experience.

The model also offers a lengthened tread life. The durable tire compound reduces the tread wear rate significantly with the wear-resistant rubber materials. This compound also avoids cuts, bruises and impact damage from harming the tread and casing and shortening the tire's service life. The detailed siping pattern evenly distributes the driving pressure along the tread area. The equally spread out forces of acceleration, cornering and braking avoids the formation of irregular tread wear along the tread area, which upgrades the length of the tread life and the model's usability.

The tread design and the all season tire compound enhance the all weather traction. This enables the tire's safe performance all year round. The compound's durable rubber maintains its flexibility throughout the year, including in colder temperatures, and it keeps the tire pliable. The tread elements with the siping detain heighten the number of biting edges gripping the road surface, enabling the tire's increased traction. The wide groove pattern and the open shoulder detail improve the on-road hydroplaning resistance. They channel water and slush from the tire and increase the wet and winter weather traction.

The Patagonia A/T R is easily controlled on various terrain surfaces. The tread's staggered and stepped block walls upgrade the grip and the tread stability. This enables the tire to maintain its constant road and terrain surface contact. The better contact with the surface improves the steering responsiveness and the driving stability. The steering becomes faster and more precise in its response to the driver's commands, while the structure is stabilized against the driving pressure affecting the model. This enables the driver to confidently maneuver the vehicle on rugged terrain surfaces.

Manufacturers recommend changing tires every 10 years. As long as tires are properly stored before they are sold, the year of their manufacture will not shorten their service life.
