OVERVIEW

The Michelin Latitude Tour is a touring, all season tire manufactured for SUVs and passenger vehicles. Michelin offers a 65,000 mile treadwear warranty with this tire model.

This model offers excellent all weather traction and it grips the road well, even in light winter conditions, thanks to the silica-enhanced tire compound. Hydroplaning is avoided by the circumferential grooves eliminating water from below the footprint. This means a safer driving experience, overall.

Michelin’s Green X Technology enables the tire compound to lower the tire’s rolling resistance, maintaining a low level of energy usage. This, in turn, lessens the vehicle’s fuel consumption and CO2 emissions, making a fuel conscious and ecologically friendly tire. The tire does not lose its performing capability or its long lasting tread in the process.

The MaxTouch Technology enables an equal distribution of the force of acceleration, braking and cornering along the tire’s road contact area. This prevents irregular wear on the tires and enables it to wear out evenly, which makes the tire’s tread life last longer. The tire’s longer tread life along with its reduced fuel usage make it an economical tire.

This model is also easily controlled. The wide groove design of the tread enhances its steering responsiveness and offers better highway stability during the drive. The tire’s silica-based tread and the special tread pattern provide a shorter braking distance as the additional biting edges boost its braking abilities.

The Latitude Tour uses the Comfort Control Technology. With the innovative tire compound and noise-cancelling tread design, this tire offers a road noise and vibration free drive, enhancing the comfort of the driver and passengers.
