Mastercraft Courser CXT

FEATURES AND BENEFITS

  • All terrain traction
  • All season traction
  • Enhanced controllability
  • Damage resistance
  • Excellent on-road comfort

OVERVIEW

The Mastercraft Courser CXT is an all terrain, all season tire manufactured for light trucks.

The model promotes great all terrain performance. The large, staggered tread block placement, wide grooves and open scalloped shoulders work together to increase the tire's performing capability both on- and off-road. This increases the model's application versatility and ensures a safer performance on all terrain conditions. The optimized tread pattern enables the tire to grip the road and terrain surface with ease, allowing its flawless performance on soft, loose and uneven terrain surfaces. The staggered tread elements and scalloped shoulders maintain a clean footprint. They eliminate mud and snow and eject rocks stuck between the tread elements. This actively avoids stone retention from harming the casing, while it provides a constant contact with the road surface for a secure off-road driving experience.

The all season tread compound and symmetric tread design work together to boost the model's all weather traction. Their combination ensures a secure dry, wet and winter weather road gripping ability. The compound keeps its rubber flexibility all year round, from the heat of summer, to the cold winter weather temperatures. The tread elements, with the optimized siping detail, improve the gripping capability throughout the year. Furthermore, the tire is pinned for studs which can be added to the tire to improve its ice and snow gripping capability. The wide grooves and open shoulders avoid hydroplaning. They disperse water and slush from beneath the footprint to maintain the tire's constant contact with the road surface, offering an excellent year round driving safety.

The special tread block pattern closely follows the road and terrain surface at all times, which improves its controllability. In other words, the better road contact increases the steering responsiveness and the driving stability. The steering becomes faster and more precise in its response to the driver's commands, while the strengthened structure is stabilized against the driving and load pressure affecting it. This achieves a safer performance as the driver has a better control over the tires during it all weather and all terrain performance.

The tire promotes a comfortable on-road drive. The reinforced sidewalls prevent the deformation of the optimal tire shape, which enables the tire to closely follow the road surface during its on-road performance. The prevention of deformation ensures an optimal road contact, which manages to lower the road vibration levels felt while the tires are in motion. They decrease the road vibrations felt in the vehicle's cabin during the drive, guaranteeing a high levels of driving comfort and enjoyment.

The Courser CXT is damage resistant. The tread's self-cleaning capability actively resists stone retention from damaging the casing and the tread area. Furthermore, the reinforced sidewall and upper sidewall design strengthen the tire against off-road damage. As a result, the sidewalls are capable of preventing bruising, abrasions and curb damage from harming the tire's casing, offering a longer usability and service life.

Manufacturers recommend changing tires every 10 years. As long as tires are properly stored before they are sold, the year of their manufacture will not shorten their service life.
