Description

Goldway R828 295/25R28 ZR 103W XL AS A/S All Season Tire

Goldway R828

FEATURES AND BENEFITS

  • All weather traction
  • Fuel efficient drive
  • Enhanced controllability

OVERVIEW

The Goldway R828 is a performance and high performance (depending on the speed rating) all season tire manufactured for passenger and crossover vehicles and SUVs.

The tire promotes great all weather traction. The asymmetric tread design and the silica-enhanced tire compound work together to upgrade the dry, wet and winter weather road gripping ability. The compound’s silica molecules ensure traction and flexibility in wet and winter weather, while the tread elements maintain a firm road grip throughout the year. The tread’s circumferential grooves prevent hydroplaning by dispersing water and slush from below the tire’s footprint. The better traction and hydroplaning resistance guarantee a safer year round driving experience.

The silica-based tire compound enhances the traction, while lowering the tire’s overall tire weight. This decreases the rolling resistance as the driving pressure is eased off the tire during the drive. The rolling resistance is the force affecting the model during the drive, which determines how much energy the vehicle needs to maintain the tire’s motion. The lessened rolling resistance reduces the vehicle’s fuel consumption and CO2 emissions significantly, making the model more fuel efficient and environmentally friendly.

The R828’s asymmetric tread pattern upgrades the model’s controllability. The tread design closely follows the road surface and increases the steering responsiveness and driving stability. The steering becomes faster and more precise in its responsiveness to the driver’s instructions, while the structure is stabilized against the driving pressure affecting the tire. The special silica-based compound and the optimal siping detail enhance the braking capability. They create friction at the moment of braking and shorten the braking distance, offering a secure performance.

The tire's sidewall also features the speed and load rating, indicating the speed and load capacity of the specific tire. The speed and load index can differ from the tires you currently have mounted on your vehicle up to a degree. Please check your vehicle's Owner's Manual or consult with your mechanic regarding the changes of your tire's speed rating and load index.
