Firestone Duraforce HD 305/70D16.5 10 Ply AS A/S All Season Tire
Firestone Duraforce HD
FEATURES AND BENEFITS
- Enhanced durability
- Self-cleaning tread design
- Longer lasting tread life
The Firestone Duraforce HD is an all season tire manufactured for industrial vehicles.
The tire promotes excellent durability. The stronger internal structure and the aggressive lug pattern work together to increase the load and driving durability. The reinforced construction manages to withstand the load and driving pressure affecting the tire, without the deformation of the ideal tire shape. This significantly increases the load capacity, which ensures a secure performing capability under the heavy load pressure. The optimal lug placement, on the other hand, improves the driving durability. The large tread elements maintain their ideal shape on various terrain surface conditions, increasing the tire’s traction and gripping capability.
The special tread design also features a directional lug placement and a high void ratio. With this tread design the tire boosts its self-cleaning capability. The large tread elements and high void ratio eliminate mud and eject rocks stuck between the tread. In this manner, the tire’s footprint is not blocked by mud and it improves the grip on the terrain surface throughout its performance. The stone ejecting capability prevents rocks from drilling into the tire’s casing and harming the tread area, preventing stone retention from shortening the tire’s usability. This combination guarantees a safer driving experience.
The Duraforce HD promotes a longer lasting tread life. The tread’s directional tread block placement enhances the tire’s tread life length. The tread allows the tire to evenly distribute the driving pressure along the tread area. The equally spread out forces of acceleration, cornering and braking actively avoids the formation of irregular tread wear across the tread area. As a result, the tire guarantees a lengthened lifetime and usability.
This is a bias ply or diagonal tire. Due to the tire's internal construction and size, it is possible that the tire will look deformed. Smaller diagonal tires do not have reinforced constructions that can keep the tire from deforming. The bias construction and the small tire's non-reinforced internal structure allow the tire to fold in when it is deflated or not properly inflated. This is not constructional damage or an issue; it is a normal occurrence with such tires. In such cases, the tire needs to be mounted and inflated to the proper PSI or, in some instances, an inner tube needs to be added. The proper PSI and the inner tube are able to maintain the tire's ideal shape, preventing the bias plies from looking deformed. This ensures their performing safety and durability.
