OVERVIEW

The Cooper Cobra Instinct is a high performance, all season tire made for passenger vehicles and SUVs.

The asymmetric tread design and the durable rubber compound improve the tire’s performance throughout the year. In this manner, the ideal tread design manages to firmly grip the road with extra biting edges, while the all season compound keeps the rubber flexible in warm and cold temperatures. This combination enhances the tire’s performance in dry, wet, and winter-weather conditions. Circumferential grooves effectively eliminate water and slush from the footprint, in order to resist hydroplaning in wet-weather conditions.

The model upgrades the tire’s overall controllability. The asymmetric tread design maintains continuous contact with the driving surface, which increases the tire’s steering responsiveness and driving stability. The tire’s steering response time is faster and more accurate to the driver’s commands, while the structure is secured against the driving pressure affecting it. At the same time, the wide shoulder blocks boost the tire’s cornering and maneuvering. The special siping details shorten the braking distance by creating friction. These elements give the driver full control over the vehicle and guarantee a safe driving experience.

The Cooper Cobra Instinct offers excellent high speed performance. The reinforced internal structure maintains the optimal tire shape under the driving pressure affecting it. This strong structure does not allow the tire to deform throughout the performance. On the other hand, the special silica compound protects the tire against heat accumulation along the tread area. This combination enables the tire to perform at its best high speed capability.

Manufacturers recommend changing tires every 10 years. As long as tires are properly stored before they are sold, the year of their manufacture will not shorten their service life.
