Continental CrossContact LX20 EcoPlus 255/55R20 107H AS A/S All Season Tire

Continental CrossContact LX20 EcoPlus

  • Fuel efficient drive
  • All weather traction
  • Precise steering responsiveness
  • Reduced road vibration levels

The Continental CrossContact LX20 EcoPlus touring all season tire manufactured for SUV, crossover and light truck vehicles. The tire comes with a 70,000 mile tread wear warranty.

The tire offers exceptional all weather traction thanks to the Tg-F polymer and +Silane additive tire compound which provides extra gripping ability in dry, wet and winter weather. The special traction grooves improve the tire’s road gripping ability in winter weather conditions, in snow and on ice. The circumferential and lateral grooves eliminate water from below the tire footprint, effectively resisting dangerous hydroplaning situations. In this manner, the tire is safer to use year round.

The model’s special tire compound also improves its fuel economy. Continental’s EcoPlus technology reduces the tire’s overall weight and with it the rolling resistance. The rolling resistance determines how much energy the vehicle uses to keep the tires in motion. The decreased rolling resistance lessens the vehicle’s fuel consumption and CO2 emissions, making the tire fuel and cost efficient and environmentally friendly. The lower rolling resistance and special tire compound also extend the tread life by slowing down the tread wear rate.

The continuous rolling surface and the tread design improve the steering responsiveness and accuracy. It is easier to handle in this manner, as it swiftly and precisely replies to the drive’s instructions. This allows the driver to confidently control the tire in all weather conditions. The better steering responsiveness enhances the driving stability and makes the tire better to control and therefore it offers a safer driving experience.

The internal structure and driving stability of the CrossContact LX20 EcoPlus reduce the road vibrations felt in the cabin of the vehicle. The internal structure features twin steel belts reinforced with spirally wrapped polyamide and polyester cord casing which boosts the durability and strength of the model. The tire does not deform under the driving pressure and it follows the road surface closely, absorbing the road vibrations and the shock of driving, making the drive more comfortable and enjoyable.
