Carlisle Radial Trail HD ST 205/75R15 101M C (6 Ply) Trailer Tire

Carlisle Radial Trail HD

  • All weather traction
  • Enhanced controllability
  • Fuel efficient drive
  • Improved durability

The Carlisle Radial Trail HD is a highway terrain, all season tire manufactured for trailers. This tire is NOT MEANT TO BE MOUNTED ON LIGHT TRUCKS, as its construction will not support the weight and performing style of such vehicles. It can ONLY BE MOUNTED ON TRAILERS.

The tire ensures excellent all season traction. The symmetric tread design and the all season compound boost the dry, wet and winter weather road gripping ability. The tire compound keeps its flexibility even in colder temperatures, while the tread elements maintain a firm grip on the road surface. The wide circumferential grooves manage to prevent hydroplaning as they disperse water and snow from below the tire’s footprint. The enhanced hydroplaning resistance and all season traction guarantee a secure driving experience.

The tread design also improves the model’s controllability. The tread’s center rib keeps the tire close to the road surface, while the reinforced body plies of the internal structure optimize the tire shape to ensure first-rate steering responsiveness and driving stability. In other words, in this manner, the steering is quicker and more precise in its response to the towing vehicle’s instructions, while the tire’s structure is stabilized against the driving pressure affecting it. The better control over the tires ensures a safer performance.

The symmetric tread design manages to lower the tire’s rolling resistance. The rolling resistance is the force affecting the tires that determines how much energy the vehicle needs to maintain the tire’s motion. The decreased rolling resistance guarantees a fuel efficient and environmentally drive as it lowers the towing vehicle’s fuel consumption and CO2 emissions. The reduced rolling resistance helps extend the tread life as well. It significantly slows the tread wear rate down as well to guarantee longer lasting tread life and usability.

The tire offers great durability. The multiple reinforced body plies, the radial construction and the high-tensile steel belts optimize the tire’s structure and prevent deformation under the driving and load pressure affecting the tires. The optimized shape and structure enable the tire to perform to its utmost capability and it increases the load carrying and withstanding capability. The special optimized sidewall compound and the strengthened steel belts manage to prevent damage from harming the tire’s casing and shortening its usability, ensuring a safer drive.

The Radial Trail HD promotes a comfortable drive as the tread lowers the road noise generated. The tread design features a special variable pitch sequence that negates the road and tread pattern noise generated while the tires are motion. It creates a sound frequency that cancels out the sound waves formed during the drive, before they are able to reach the vehicle’s cabin. The result is a comfortable and quiet driving experience.

IMPORTANT INFORMATION: Please note this is Original Equipment (O.E.) tire size only. The O.E. size is determined by the year, make, model and options of the vehicle. Original Equipment size data is the best information we currently have available to us. Priority Tire LLC is not responsible for fitment errors. The most important aspect of purchasing a tire is its size, which cannot vary. It is buyer's responsibility to verify the tire size information. It is buyer's responsibility to verify whether a specific tire is suitable for a specific vehicle. However, this tire size may be fitted on other vehicles as well. To ensure that you are purchasing the correct tire size for your vehicle, please check the size of your currently mounted tires (locate on the tire's sidewall). The tire's sidewall also features the speed and load rating, indicating the speed and load capacity of the specific tire. The speed and load index can differ from the tires you currently have mounted on your vehicle up to a degree. Please check your vehicle's Owner's Manual or consult with your mechanic regarding the changes of your tire's speed rating and load index. If you have any questions regarding your tire size , speed rating and load index please contact us prior to purchasing and confirm with certified auto technician of any variance in speed and load index and sizes.
