OVERVIEW
The Yokohama YK740 GTX is a highway terrain all season tire manufactured for passenger vehicles and SUVs. Yokohama offers a 60,000 mile warranty with this model.
The model has excellent all weather traction due to the special tread design and the ELS orange oil tire compound. The tread features triple 3D sipes that provide biting edges for an enhanced wet and winter weather performance, while the compound keeps the tread flexible for road grip in wet, dry and winter weather conditions. The tire also resists dangerous hydroplaning situations as the asymmetric groove arrangement evacuates water from below the tire footprint. The tire is safe to use all year thanks to these features.
The model offers a longer lasting tread life. The orange oil-enhanced tire compound, the wider tread profile and the triple 3D sipes in the tread pattern all prevent irregular wear across the tread area. The tire's stable road contact patch and its retained tread block rigidity offer a longer lasting, even wear, which makes the tire usable for a longer period of time. This makes the tire more cost efficient.
The tire maintains its optimal shape under the driving pressure, with the nylon cover in its internal structure, enhancing the tire's driving stability. If an order is placed before 1 pm EST on a business day we ship the order the same day.
If it is placed after 1 pm EST or over the weekend, we will ship the order out the following business day. Depending where you are located in the 48 contiguous states, our shipping courier will take approximately 1-6 business days to deliver the tires to you from any of our four main warehouses located in Pennsylvania, Texas, and Florida and/or our smaller warehouses which are located across the country.
Due to the nature of shipping, packages may be separated at the shipping courier's facility and not delivered on the same day, even though shipped together. You'll receive a master tracking number via email to check on the courier's website for updates. For instance, you may receive 3 tires on one day and the 4th on the following day, or one tire one day and another the day after. We understand this may be inconvenient at times but it's beyond our control.
