Attention! Due to the size of the tires, Packages might be SEPARATED in the courier facility and not be DELIVERED on the SAME DAY, even though we do ship them together. Tracking information can be checked by logging on to the courier website with the master tracking number you will receive via email. For example, you can receive 3 tires in one day and the 4th one the next day or the day after, or one tire in one day and the second one day after. We understand that this is a big inconvenience for our buyers, however, this is ABSOLUTELY out of our control.
Trac-Gard P5023
FEATURES AND BENEFITS
- Versatile terrain traction
- Improved controllability
- Longer service life
- Damage resistance
OVERVIEW
The Trac-Gard P5023 is an all season tire made for lawn mowers and garden tractors.
The optimal tread pattern's close surface contact offers great traction on versatile terrains. The optimal tread pattern manages the tire's surface contact even on soft, loose, and uneven terrain surfaces. Large elements grip the surface with extra biting edges, maintaining forward motion at all times. At the same time, the tread pattern keeps the footprint clean. They eliminate mud, snow, and rocks stuck between the tread elements to further increase driving safety levels.
The model also enhances overall controllability. The optimal elements maintain surface contact, which boosts steering responsiveness and driving stability. In other words, the steering response time is faster and more precise to the driver's commands, while the structure is secured against driving pressure. Large tread elements upgrade cornering and maneuvering throughout the model's performance on different terrains. The driver has exceptional control over the vehicle.
The model also provides longer-lasting tread life. The optimal tread design is able to evenly distribute driving pressure along the tread area. The compound reduces the treadwear rate significantly. As a result, this tread design and wear-resistant compound resist irregular and premature wear formations along the tread area. It improves the tire's service life.
The Trac-Gard P5023 also upgrades driving durability. The strengthened internal structure keeps the ideal tire shape under driving pressure, upgrading load capacity. The rubber compound resists external damage, such as punctures, cuts, and tearing along the tread area.
This is a bias ply tire. Due to the tire's internal construction and size, it is possible that the tire will look deformed. Smaller bias ply tires do not have reinforced constructions that can keep the tire from deforming. The bias construction and the small tire's non-reinforced internal structure allow the tire to fold in when it is deflated or not properly inflated. This is not constructional damage or an issue; it is a normal occurrence with such tires. In such cases, the tire needs to be mounted and inflated to the proper PSI or, in some instances, an inner tube needs to be added. The proper PSI and the inner tube are able to maintain the tire's ideal shape, preventing the bias plies from looking deformed. This ensures their performing safety and durability.
The photo is a representation of the tire's possible deformation, it does not represent the specific tire model, size, tread pattern and application.
This specific tire model features a BIASED ply construction.
Manufacturers recommend changing tires every 10 years. As long as tires are properly stored before they are sold, the year of their manufacture will not shorten their service life.
