OVERVIEW
The Toyo Open Country R/T is a rugged terrain, all season tire manufactured for light trucks. Toyo offers a 45,000 mile treadwear warranty with this tire model.
The tire ensures exceptional versatile terrain performance. The aggressive tread design features staggered tread blocks, wide grooves, an open shoulder pattern and an optimized dual sidewall design. They work together to increase the model's soft, loose and uneven terrain gripping capability. The staggered tread blocks find good grip on all road and terrain surfaces to ensure a secure drive. The large grooves and staggered tread blocks maintain a clean footprint by dispersing water and slush from below the tire's footprint. In this manner, the tire's footprint is not blocked from its contact with the terrain surface, which further improves its performing capability.
The all season tire compound and the tread pattern design enhance the year round traction. They find firm grip in dry, wet and winter weather conditions. The special tire compound keeps its flexibility even in colder temperatures, while the tread elements find firm grip throughout the year. The tread pattern boosts the road grip to guarantee a safer driving experience. The wide and deep tread grooves actively channel water and slush from below the tire's footprint in order to prevent hydroplaning when driving on-road. The enhanced all weather traction and hydroplaning resistance increase the driving safety throughout the year.
The model effectively resists damage from harming its casing and construction. The tread design's stone ejecting ribs eliminate rocks from the tread grooves to prevent stone retention and drilling. The stronger sidewall structure and compound avoid side impact damage, while the reinforced internal structure decreases the possibility of impact damage harming the tire. As a result, the model ensures a safer driving experience.
The tire's reinforced internal structure boosts the controllability and durability. It prevents the tire's shape from deforming under the driving and load pressure and upgrades the driving stability. The maintained optimal shape enables the tire to carry and withstand heavy loads with ease and to safely perform under the load pressure affecting it. The stabilized structure improves the road contact, which boosts the steering responsiveness and accuracy to the driver's commands, ensuring a safer and effortless handling.
The Open Country R/T guarantees a quiet on-road performance. The tread design's optimized tread block placement reduces the road noise levels by negating the soundwaves. The optimal tread design channels the airwaves through the tire's footprint, not allowing them to come into contact with the tread elements. The road and tread pattern noise is not generated and it ensures a quiet and comfortable driving experience.
