OVERVIEW

The Supermax HD1 is a highway terrain, all season tire manufactured for commercial vehicles. It was made to be mounted on the vehicle's drive axle.

The model optimizes its all weather traction throughout the drive. The tire upgrades the all season compound and the ideal tread design upgrades the dry, wet and winter weather grip on the road surface. The compound upgrades the rubber flexibility in different temperatures, from the heat of summer to colder winter conditions. The tread design's solid shoulder ribs and the individual center tread blocks improve the number of biting edges gripping the road surface throughout the drive, which improves the driving safety levels. The tread's optimized groove placement enhances the hydroplaning resistance by eliminating water and slush from the footprint.

The tread design boosts the controllability as well. The tread design's solid shoulder ribs maintain the surface contact throughout the drive, which improve the steering responsiveness and the driving stability. The solid shoulder ribs help upgrade the steering response time and accuracy to the steering axle's commands, while the structure is secured against the driving pressure affecting the tire. The shoulder ribs also manage to enhance the maneuvering ability. As they closely follow the road surface during maneuvering, which increases the controllability and tread life.

The HD1 provides a fuel efficient performance. The optimal tread design and the fuel saving compound improve the all weather traction, which eases the driving pressure off the tire. Furthermore, the compound also avoids heat build-up along the tread area. This combination reduces the overall rolling resistance during the tire's performance. The rolling resistance is the pressure affecting the tire, which determines the vehicle's fuel usage in order to keep the tires in motion. The lowered rolling resistance decreases the vehicle's fuel consumption and CO2 emissions, offering a fuel efficient and environmentally conscious driving experience.

There might be discrepancies of sizes between brands and models of tires which have this size formatting. As the manufacturers only provide the tire width and the rim diameter with these tires, various brands and models will have size differences. In order to ensure the correct size is purchased, the overall tire diameter that is needed should be checked.

The Overall Diameter or O.D. advertised represents the tire's overall diameter in inches, once the tire has been properly inflated and mounted per the manufacturer's recommendation. This advertised number is provided to Priority Tire by the tire manufacturer.

Manufacturers recommend changing tires every 10 years. As long as tires are properly stored before they are sold, the year of their manufacture will not shorten their service life.
