OVERVIEW

The Sotera Viatus is a highway terrain, all season tire manufactured for trailers. This tire is NOT MEANT TO BE MOUNTED ON LIGHT TRUCKS, as its construction will not support the weight and performing style of such vehicles. It can ONLY BE MOUNTED ON TRAILERS.

The tire offers great controllability. The ribbed tread design closely follows the road surface and ensures constant contact, which upgrades the dry, wet and winter weather road gripping ability. The tread's enhanced road contact boosts the steering responsiveness and the driving stability. In other words, the tire's structure is secured against the driving and load pressure affecting it during the drive, while the steering becomes faster and more precise in its responsiveness to the towing vehicle's instructions. The better control the towing vehicle has over the tires enables the driver to confidently maneuvering the vehicle.

The model ensures exceptional all weather traction. While trailer tires do not need to have as good of a traction as the towing vehicle's tires have, this model still ensures first-rate road gripping ability in all weather. The tread elements, with the optimal siping detail, firmly grip the road surface and increase the year round performing capability. The wide circumferential grooves prevent hydroplaning. They disperse water and slush from beneath the tire's footprint and guarantee constant road contact. In this manner, they promote a secure year round driving experience.

The Viatus maintains a clean footprint at all times. The circumferential grooves feature knobs on their floors that eliminate snow and eject rocks stuck between the tread elements. As a result, the tire is not blocked from its contact with the road surface, and it actively resists stone retention from harming the tire's casing. This ensures a safer year round performance and ensures the towing vehicle's easier job.
