OVERVIEW

The Pirelli P6 Four Seasons Plus is a touring, all season tire manufactured for passenger vehicles. Pirelli offers a 45,000 mile treadwear warranty with this model.

The tire ensures exceptional all weather traction. The model was made from a full silica compound and molded into a detailed asymmetric tread pattern, which increases the year round performance. The asymmetric tread design with the detailed siping pattern maintains a firm grip on the tire surface in dry, wet and winter weather thanks to the additional biting edges the sipes provide. The silica compound keeps a flexible traction throughout the year, to upgrade the year round performance. The tread's wide circumferential and smaller lateral grooves actively prevent hydroplaning. They disperse water and slush from below the tire's footprint and boost the wet and winter weather driving safety. The winter traction is further increased with the sipes intermediate tread blocks that guarantee a firm grip on snow-covered road surfaces.

The model promotes a comfortable drive. The tread design and the internal structure work together to improve the driving enjoyment of the passengers in all weather. The asymmetric pattern features a variable pitch phase shift which lowers the road noise levels heard while the tires are in motion. This pitch sequence creates a sound frequency that negates the road and tread pattern noise generated during the drive. As a result, the road noise's soundwaves are cancelled out before they can reach the vehicle's cabin. On the other hand, the reinforced internal structure features steel belts boosted with a full spirally wrapped nylon overlay, which maintains the optimal tire shape. This allows the tire to closely follow the road surface and absorb the shock of driving. The tire was manufactured with Pirelli's special Extra Low Rolling Resistance technology.
