OVERVIEW

The Otani T-22 is an all season tire made for lawn mowers and garden tractors.

The ribbed tread design and the durable rubber compound improve the tire’s performance on various terrains. The special tread elements firmly grip the surface and keep forward motion at all times. This increases the tire’s performance on soft, loose, and uneven terrains. At the same time, this tread pattern keeps constant surface contact, which enhances steering responsiveness and driving stability. Excellent cornering and maneuvering are upgraded too. This combination allows the driver to have full control over the vehicle and guarantees a safe driving experience.

The model offers a turf-friendly driving experience. The ribbed tread design upgrades the model’s soft traction. This improves traction and allows the tire to closely follow the surface, reducing the pressure placed on the driving surface. In this manner, it prevents excess pressure from harming the grass and turf surfaces during the tire’s motion. As a result, the tire’s soft traction and turf-friendly performance make this model perfect for lawn mowers and garden tractors.

The Otani T-22 ensures its driving durability and damage resistance. The strengthened internal structure maintains the optimal tire shape under the driving pressure affecting the tire. On the other hand, the special silica compound resists external damage, such as punctures, cuts, and tearing during off-road performance.

This is a bias ply tire. Due to the tire's internal construction and size, it is possible that the tire will look deformed. Smaller bias ply tires do not have reinforced constructions that can keep the tire from deforming. The bias construction and the small tire's non-reinforced internal structure allow the tire to fold in when it is deflated or not properly inflated. This is not constructional damage or an issue; it is a normal occurrence with such tires. In such cases, the tire needs to be mounted and inflated to the proper PSI or, in some instances, an inner tube needs to be added. The proper PSI and the inner tube are able to maintain the tire's ideal shape, preventing the bias plies from looking deformed. This ensures their performing safety and durability.

There might be discrepancies of sizes between brands and models of tires which have this size formatting. As the manufacturers only provide the tire width and the rim diameter with these tires, various brands and models will have size differences. In order to ensure the correct size is purchased, the overall tire diameter that is needed should be checked.

This is a Tubed Type Tire (TT), which requires an inner tube to properly function. This purchase does not include the inner tube or flaps.

The Overall Diameter or O.D. advertised represents the tire's overall diameter in inches, once the tire has been properly inflated and mounted per the manufacturer's recommendation. This advertised number is provided to Priority Tire by the tire manufacturer.

Manufacturers recommend changing tires every 10 years. As long as tires are properly stored before they are sold, the year of their manufacture will not shorten their service life.
