OVERVIEW
The Mickey Thompson Baja Claw is a mud terrain, all season tire manufactured for light trucks, jeeps, SUVs and other vehicles needing extra traction for off-road performance.
The special directional tread pattern increases the all weather traction of the tire. It is capable of gripping the road well in dry, wet and winter weather conditions, and it maintains its great traction with the tread pattern's self-cleaning nature. The wide tread grooves clean out mud, sand and snow stuck between the tread elements. This keeps the tread clean at all times and allows the tire to grip the road excellently in all conditions.
The large tread groove and block design and the sidewall's sidebiter increase the mud terrain traction and grip. The tire has enhanced terrain grip in all off-road conditions as the tire was designed to conquer all loose, soft and uneven surfaces. It promotes exceptional driving safety on off-road terrain surface conditions. The tread design prevents stone retention, which avoids rock and stone caused damages. The sidebiter on each sidewall prevents cuts and other damages as they guard the sidewall during off-road driving.
The Baja Claw's tread block design and the tire compound's excellent traction equally spread the driving pressure across the tread area. The even distribution of the forces of acceleration, braking and cornering avoids irregularities in the tread wear. As the tire is forced to wear out evenly, it is usable for a longer period of time and it extends the tread life of the tire.
The intended purpose of Mud Terrain tire types is off-road use. They are not designed for regular highway driving.
