OVERVIEW

The Michelin XZA is a highway terrain, all season tire manufactured for commercial vehicles. It was made to be mounted on the vehicle in all axle positions.

The tire promotes great all weather traction. The all season tire compound and the trapezoidal micro sipes on the rib edges improve the tire's grip in dry, wet and winter weather. The all season compound improves the grip the tire has on the road surface by increasing the number of biting edges gripping the road surface throughout the year. The all weather compound maintains the tire's flexibility in various conditions. The circumferential grooves and the siping detail help prevent hydroplaning. They increase the tire's water and slush dispersing capability, which maintains the tire's constant road contact and upgrades the wet and winter weather performance.

The special fuel saving compound and its ideal road contact work together to decrease the rolling resistance affecting the model. The compound and tread design enhance the tire's traction and ease the driving pressure off the tire. In this manner, they lower the rolling resistance which is the driving pressure determining the amount of energy the vehicle needs to keep the tires in motion. The reduced rolling resistance lessens the vehicle's fuel consumption and CO2 emissions, providing a fuel efficient and environmentally friendly performance.

The tire offers a lengthened usability. The reduced rolling resistance and the durable tire compound manage to slow the tread wear rate down significantly, by decreasing the effect the driving pressure has on the tire. The durable compound is also weather damage and wear-resistant, which prevents premature tread wear or damage caused by different weather from shortening the tire's lifetime. The special shoulder design increases the tread life by providing even tread wear. The solid shoulder blocks equally distribute the driving pressure along the tread area, avoiding irregular tread wear formations and extending the tread life and tire usability.

The XZA was manufactured with a reinforced construction. The internal structure features the unique Infini-Coil technology and a five steel belt structure to maintain the optimal tire shape at all times. The extra reinforcement of the construction prevents the tire shape from deforming under the driving and load pressure affecting it.
