Michelin Primacy LC
FEATURES AND BENEFITS
- Summer weather traction
- Enhanced controllability
- High driving comfort levels
OVERVIEW
The Michelin Primacy LC is a touring, summer tire manufactured for passenger vehicles and SUVs.
Summer weather traction is promoted with the tread design and durable compound. The stronger compound elements optimize the excellent heat-resistant rubber materials, preventing heat build-up along the tread area. The symmetric tread elements and the better road-to-rubber ratio enable the tire to increase the grip on the road surface. These elements upgrade the dry and wet weather performance. The circumferential grooves prevent hydroplaning in wet weather conditions.
The optimal tread elements greatly improve the controllability and maneuvering capability. The close road contact ensures the surface contact, boosting the steering responsiveness and driving stability. This guarantees the driver's better control over the vehicle throughout its performance. The tread design's shoulder block placement increases the cornering capability with the use of extra biting edges. The angled tread elements and the heat-resistant compound create friction at the moment of braking, significantly shortening the braking distance. The combination of these elements ensures a safer driving experience.
The Primacy LC boosts the comfort levels as well. The tread design's close road contact and the closed shoulder block placement allow the tire to decrease the road vibrations and noise levels. The close road contact absorbs the shock of driving, decreasing the vibrations felt by the passengers. The tread prevents airwaves from entering the footprint and generating sound waves, minimizing the road noise levels heard by the passengers. This combination ensures a quiet and comfortable performance.
