OVERVIEW

The Michelin Pilot Sport A/S 3 (N0) is a performance and high performance, all season tire manufactured for passenger vehicles and SUVs. It is the first approved original equipment tire of select Porsche vehicles.

The Helio Technology, with the sunflower oil-enhanced tire compound, offers exceptional all weather traction. This special tire compound, with the variable thickness sipes, offer improved road grip in dry, wet and winter weather conditions with the extra biting edges they provide. The tire is also resistant to hydroplaning as the wide tread grooves help shorten wet braking and channel water from beneath the footprint of the tire.

The tire's all weather performance is exquisite as well. The tire's handling and control in snow is enhanced by the special tread design, which enhances its acceleration and breaking in the snow. The Variable Contact Patch 2.0 and the aggressive asymmetric tread pattern work together to provide the tire with great dry weather management and endurance. The tire's road contact area equally divides the pressure and temperature of the driving force. These aspects increase the tire's performing ability, and the tire is perfect for endurance racing.

The Pilot Sport A/S 3 (N0) offers a shorter braking distance which makes the driving experience safer. This is made possible by the silica-enhanced tread compound. This also results in a better dry and wet weather road grip.

Manufacturers recommend changing tires every 10 years. As long as tires are properly stored before they are sold, the year of their manufacture will not shorten their service life.
