The Michelin CrossClimate 2 is a performance, all weather tire manufactured for passenger vehicles and SUVs. Michelin offers a 60,000 mile treadwear warranty with this tire model.

The tire promotes great all weather traction. The stronger, adaptive thermal compound and the directional tread design upgrade the dry, wet, and winter weather traction. The durable compound maintains the flexibility of its rubber elements at all times. The tread design's siping placement and surface contact increase the traction throughout the year with extra biting edges. This combination also ensures the tire's exceptional winter traction, earning the tire its severe winter weather designation. The angled lateral grooves help prevent hydroplaning in wet weather conditions.

The directional pattern with the optimal surface contact area increases the controllability. The tread enables the tire to improve the steering responsiveness and the driving stability. The 3D SipeLock technology and the V Ramp chamfers work together to generate friction at the moment of braking, significantly shortening the braking distance. The thermal adaptive tread also helps with the braking power. On the other hand, the shoulder block pattern enhances the cornering ability. They provide additional biting edges to increase the cornering and maneuvering ability and power. This combination ensures a safer handling, improving the driver's control over the vehicle throughout the performance.
