OVERVIEW

The Mastercraft Strategy is a touring all season tire manufactured for passenger vehicles. Mastercraft offers a 65,000 mile treadwear warranty for the T speed rated sizes and a 50,000 mile warranty for the H and V speed rated sizes of this tire model.

This model promotes excellent all weather traction with the five-rib symmetric tread pattern. The tread design features four wide circumferential grooves, variable shoulder slots and a high density siping detail. They work together to ensure safer dry, wet and winter weather traction. The wide circumferential grooves also increase the hydroplaning resistance of the model by eliminating water and slush from below the tire footprint.

The five-rib tread design also decreases the road noise and vibrations felt in the vehicle's cabin. The computer optimized variable pitch tread block design lowers the road noise generated while the tires are in motion, by negating the sound waves with the sound frequency they create. It also allows the tire to closely follow the road surface, which prevents road vibrations from disturbing the comfort of the passengers. The result is a quiet and comfortable driving experience.

The maintained road contact of the tread design makes the tire easier to control in all weather. The steering responsiveness and driving stability are increased as the tread has a firm grip on the road surface. The tire is quick and accurate in its response to the driver's instructions, while it is also stabilized against the driving pressure affecting it. The Strategy promotes an extended tread life and tire usability. The tread design's notched center rib, the enhanced shoulder slots and the refined tread elements evenly distribute the driving pressure along the tread surface.
