OVERVIEW

The Kumho Solus KR21 is a touring, all season tire manufactured for passenger vehicles and SUVs. Kumho offers an 85,000 mile treadwear warranty with this model.

The tire promotes excellent all weather traction with the advanced carbon compound and full depth sipes. The combination of these two enhancements firmly grip the road in dry, wet and winter weather. The tread design's full-sipe detail ensures a safer driving experience all year. They manage to cut through water and disperse it from beneath the tire footprint, which boosts the hydroplaning resistance significantly.

The full-depth siping detail also increases the tread life and tire usability. They maintain the tire's excellent road gripping ability and hydroplaning resistance throughout the tire's life. They do not disappear with the tread wear, as normal sipes do, but they are present down to the tread design's bottom, extending the tire's exceptional traction. The tread design also improves the tire's usability. It prevents irregular tread wear as it evenly spreads the driving pressure out across the tread area.
