Kenda Loadstar Karrier S-Trail
FEATURES AND BENEFITS
- Trailer tire, NOT FOR LIGHT TRUCKS
- All weather traction
- Enhanced durability
- Better towing stability
OVERVIEW
The Kenda Loadstar Karrier S-Trail is a highway terrain, all season tire manufactured for trailers. This tire is NOT MEANT TO BE MOUNTED ON LIGHT TRUCKS, as its construction will not support the weight and performing style of such vehicles. It can ONLY BE MOUNTED ON TRAILERS.
The tire improves the all weather traction. The model combines the all season compound and a computer-optimized symmetric ribbed pattern work together to increase the dry, wet and winter weather road gripping ability. The durable compound prevents heat build-up along the tread area and it keeps the tire pliable in versatile temperatures. The symmetric ribbed tread design enhances the grip on the road surface with additional biting edges. The tread also features circumferential grooves, dispersing water and slush from below the footprint, avoiding hydroplaning and improving a wet and winter weather grip.
The tire also features a reinforced internal structure. This structure consists of a double steel belt and full nylon ply construction which helps maintain the ideal tire shape under the load and driving pressure affecting the model. As the tire does not deform under the load and driving pressure, it is able to carry and withstand heavy loads with ease. The tire significantly boosts the load capacity throughout the drive, which enhances the heavy load driving safety.
The Loadstar Karrier S-Trail also utilizes the structure to increase the overall driving smoothness. The stronger structure maintains a close surface contact throughout the drive, which increases the driving stability. In this manner, the structure is secured against the driving pressure affecting the model which significantly minimizes the possibility of trailer swaying. By avoiding it, the tire makes the towing vehicle's job easier by securing the trailer while they are in motion.
There might be discrepancies of sizes between brands and models of tires which have this size formatting. As the manufacturers only provide the tire width and the rim diameter with these tires, various brands and models will have size differences. In order to ensure the correct size is purchased, the overall tire diameter that is needed should be checked.
The Overall Diameter or O.D. advertised represents the tire's overall diameter in inches, once the tire has been properly inflated and mounted per the manufacturer's recommendation. This advertised number is provided to Priority Tire by the tire manufacturer.
Manufacturers recommend changing tires every 10 years. As long as tires are properly stored before they are sold, the year of their manufacture will not shorten their service life.
