OVERVIEW

The Goodyear G572A LHD Fuel Max is a highway terrain, all season tire manufactured for commercial vehicles. It was meant to be mounted on the vehicle's drive axle.

The special tread design and all season tire compound enhance the all weather traction. The compound keeps its excellent rubber flexibility through the year, including in winter weather. The tread elements, with the optimal siping detail and tread block placement ensure a consistent grip all year round. The zigzag circumferential grooves effectively resist hydroplaning. They disperse water and slush from below the tire's footprint. This combination allows the tire's first-rate traction and performance in dry, wet and winter weather.

The tire's fuel-saving casing compound improves the tire's fuel efficiency. The compound increases the tire's all weather traction which eases the driving pressure off it. In this manner, the tire lowers its rolling resistance, which is the external driving pressure affecting the model. This driving pressure determines the amount of energy the vehicle needs to keep the tires in motion. The reduced rolling resistance in turn decreases the vehicle's fuel consumption and CO2 emissions significantly, making the tire's performance fuel efficient and environmentally friendly.

The G572A LHD Fuel Max offers a lengthened tread life. It was manufactured with Goodyear's TredLock technology which uses the interlocking siping detail to stabilize the tread elements. The better tread stability prevents tread flexing, which enables the model to evenly distribute the forces of acceleration, cornering and braking across the tread area. The equally spread out driving pressure avoids the formation of uneven tread wear along the tire's surface. This, combined with the durable compound's slower tread wear rate, extends the tread life and the tire's usability.
