OVERVIEW
The Fuel Gripper A/T is an all terrain, all season tire manufactured for SUVs and light trucks. Fuel offers a 50,000 mile treadwear warranty with the S speed rated sizes and a 55,000 mile treadwear warranty with the T speed rated sizes of this tire model.
The tire promotes great all weather traction. The detailed tread design and the all season compound enhance the dry, wet and winter weather grip on the road and terrain surface conditions. The tread elements, with the staggered tread blocks and siping detail, improves the number of biting edges gripping the road and terrain surface, while the compound keeps the rubber flexibility in versatile temperatures. During the tire's on-road performance, the wide groove pattern avoids hydroplaning. These grooves disperse water and slush from below the footprint and enhance the wet and slushy weather performing safety.
The tread design also boosts the model's all terrain grip. The tread and shoulder pattern improve the tire's grip on soft, loose and uneven terrain surfaces. The high void ratio, staggered tread block placement and optimal shoulder block pattern work together to boost the tire's forward motion on various terrain conditions. As a result, the tire can securely perform in deep mud and on loose dirt, without getting stuck on such terrains. These tread elements also keep the footprint clean. They eliminate mud and snow stuck between the tread elements, preventing them from cutting off the tire's surface contact. The better traction and constant surface grip upgrade the tire's off-road driving security.
The tread design and the stronger internal structure work together to protect the tire against damage. The tread's self-cleaning nature also protects the tire against stone retention. These tread elements eject rocks from the footprint, before they can drill into the tire and damage the casing. The reinforced construction and the durable compound protect the tire against punctures, cuts and impact damage. In this manner, they resist the tread's chipping, cracking and tearing and strengthen the tire against external damage that may harm it. This allows the tire to enhance its damage resistance while the tires are in motion during its off-road performance. The stronger construction also manages to boost the load and driving durability. It maintains the ideal tire shape under the pressure, which allows the tire to carry and withstand heavy loads with ease, boosting the load capacity significantly.
The stronger compound and optimal tread design increase the tread life. The staggered tread elements and the tire's flat footprint increase the pressure distribution along the tread area. The equally spread out forces of acceleration, cornering and braking actively avoids irregular wear formations along the tire's surface. The durable compound, on the other hand, slows the tread wear rate down. The wear-resistant rubber materials decrease the tread wear and lengthen the model's usability. This is combined with the excellent damage resistance to increase the model's service life significantly.
The Gripper A/T boosts its controllability. The flat footprint closely follows the road and terrain surface throughout the drive. In this manner, the tire is capable of increasing the steering responsiveness and the driving stability. The steering becomes faster and more precise in its response to the driver's commands, while the structure is stabilized against the driving pressure affecting the model. As a result, the tire guarantees the driver's full control over the vehicle in versatile weather and terrain conditions.
- Fast and Free Shipping
If an order is placed before 1 pm EST on a business day we ship the order the same day.
If it is placed after 1 pm EST or over the weekend, we will ship the order out the following business day. Depending where you are located in the 48 contiguous states, our shipping courier will take approximately 1-6 business days to deliver the tires to you from any of our four main warehouses located in Pennsylvania, Texas, and Florida and/or our smaller warehouses which are located across the country.
Due to the nature of shipping, packages may be separated at the shipping courier's facility and not delivered on the same day, even though shipped together. You'll receive a master tracking number via email to check on the courier's website for updates. For instance, you may receive 3 tires on one day and the 4th on the following day, or one tire one day and another the day after. We understand this may be inconvenient at times but it's beyond our control.
