OVERVIEW

The Freestar Radial S/T M-108 is a highway terrain, all season tire manufactured for trailers. This tire is NOT MEANT TO BE MOUNTED ON LIGHT TRUCKS, as its construction will not support the weight and performing style of such vehicles. It can ONLY BE MOUNTED ON TRAILERS.

The tire offers great all weather traction. While trailer tires do not need to have as good traction as the towing vehicle's tires have, this model still manages to firmly grip the dry, wet and winter weather road surface. The model's symmetric tread design with the zig-zag rib pattern increases the road gripping ability, while the wide circumferential grooves actively resist hydroplaning by dispersing water and slush from below the tire's footprint. The improved road grip and hydroplaning prevention work together to improve the year round driving safety.

The tread design features a continuous center rib and a larger shoulder area. The center rib maintains the tire's road contact at all times, which improves the steering responsiveness and driving stability. The structure is stabilized against the driving pressure, while the steering is faster and more precise in its responsiveness to the towing vehicle's instructions. The center rib also improves the lateral towing capability in all weather. The larger shoulder area upgrades the cornering capability by firmly gripping the road surface during maneuvering.

The tire's radial ply construction boosts its tread life and damage resistance. The symmetric tread design and the maintained optimal tire shape of the radial construction amend the tire's road contact, which enables it to evenly distribute the driving pressure along the tread area. The equally spread out forces of acceleration, cornering and braking prevent the formation of irregular tread wear across the tire's structure. In this manner, the tire ensures a longer lasting tread life and usability. The radial ply construction actively resists impact damage. Its damage resisting capability guarantees a safer performance as the tire's casing remains unharmed.

The Radial S/T M-108 is manufactured for a heavy-duty ply rating. This keeps the tire's optimal shape and prevents its deformity under the load and driving pressure. The maintained tire shape enables the model to carry and withstand heavier loads with ease, greatly increasing its load handling capability.
